Fibernet -- FiberNet

(To join scroll down a ways to the subscribe section) The FiberNet list serve was established to make communication easier between members and to provide more protection against spam than a distribution list offers. It's very easy to use. Here is what you need to know: * To email to the entire group use the address: FiberNet@vashondigital.com. You may want to add it to your address book so the email address is stored. Please do not send emails that don't pertain to FiberNet's purpose -- sharing information about the fiber arts. If in doubt, ask an administrator. * “Reply All” will go to the whole group. Use “Reply All” when you are answering a question or giving other information if you think other members may be interested in the response (even though just one person asked the question). * “Reply” goes only to the person who sent the email you are replying to. Use this when the information needed is something that only that one person needs to know and replying to all would just be clutter to everyone else.

Subscribing to Fibernet

Subscribe to Fibernet by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name:   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
